A sketch of this movement will be required:

A boy moves from a point P to another point Q due north

from the question it is clear that length of PQ = QR. Therefore, angle QPR and QRP will both be 45 degrees.

Now for the right answer to the above question:

  1. Option A is correct. bearing of R from P = 045°
  2. Option B is incorrect. This is rather the bearing of P from R.
  3. C is incorrect.
  4. D is not the correct answer.
